This summer the Faculty of Science at the University of Waterloo is hosting GeoX, a one-week camp for high school students to learn more about the field of earth and environmental science.
Who: High school students entering Grades 11 or 12 in September 2025
Where: University of Waterloo main campus (200 University Ave W, Waterloo, ON N2L 3G1)
When: August 10-16
Cost: $700
What’s included: 6 nights in the United College Residences and a full meal plan from Sunday night to Saturday morning. Daily hands-on learning on and around campus, and field trips including a trip to an active mine site. Evening programming and a residence chaperone are also included.
