University of Toronto's Engineers Without Borders: Moral Code Hackathon

The University of Toronto is inviting students to our annual Engineers Without Borders: Moral Code Hackathon. Our Moral Code Hackathon is a two-day beginner-friendly hackathon geared towards high-school and 1st and 2nd-year university students. It is being held at the University of Toronto St. George Campus, on May 4-5th, 2024.

This unique event challenges participants to become agents of positive change, helping to foster a culture of conscientious innovation. Participants will be tasked with addressing pressing societal challenges, ranging from sustainability and social justice to healthcare and education. By harnessing their engineering creativity, participants will not only develop tangible solutions but also cultivate a deeper understanding of their moral responsibilities as future engineers. Through collaboration, mentorship, and integrity, the Moral Code Hackathon seeks to empower the next generation of engineers to lead with a dedication to using their skills for the betterment of humanity.

To register for the hackathon, students must RSVP at our website: https://www.uoft.ewb.ca/event-details/moral-code-hackathon. The hackathon is completely free, and lunch will be provided for both days. Detailed information about the schedule, rules, and case studies are outlined on our website.
